Today my Lenten journey comes to an end.
You’ve got your bar of soap. Is there anything else you can do to be plastic free in the bathroom?
Warning: I’m going to talk about my period.
Since I’m now halfway, I thought it would be good to check how I’m doing…
The snow has ruined everything.
Two preconceptions I had about being plastic-free have been shattered (for now at least).
This is how you change the world; real people getting together and spurring each other on to make a change.
To all those who believed in me, I’m sorry: I bought some plastic. But this is not the end!
A week in, and I’m still alive. Despite the difficulties, it feels like I’m doing something really good.
Today I ran out of shampoo. In case you hadn’t noticed, shampoo comes in plastic bottles.
I think there is a real danger I am going to starve in my pursuit of a plastic-free lent. Send care packages.
Why plastic-free? Every piece of plastic ever made still exists today. That’s 4.9 billion tons in landfill or floating loose in the environment.
